I know what you mean found my first rock chip on the outer fairing last weekend, not sure what hurts more the chip or the price of the touch up paint.

This is one pic we don't need to see.  The first one is always the hardest one. :(   Is it an actual "ding" or is it just a stone chip?

My right side cover has a  big long scratch in it all the way through the color coat.  I can only guess in that location that it was one of these damn cats jumping up on the seat. :nixweiss:

My "one-eyed ,nuetered ,part Manx(tail-less)" cat will gofrom one end of a open car to the other checkin it out .But he has always shyed away from the bikes.

And no we don't call him lucky !!!!

They're not from this house......we have a dog.  But the dog is always going crazy when a cat is cutting across the front yard.  One morning I got my bike out about 5 a.m. and didn't leave until about 6.  It was later that day that I noticed the scratch.  I think it probably happened in that hour that it set out there before the sun came up (when the cats are out prowlin). :nixweiss:

When you Ride Chips happen. That first one really sucks but as was said it makes the other easier to tolerate. Bring on the touch-up paint!!
