Figured I'd update my visited map.

You've been a lot of places Simon. But I'm surprised that you haven't been down in Mexico. A lot of fun and interesting places down there, too. If not by yourself, hook up with one of those Mexico motorcycle tours. A bunch of us CVO owners from So Cal went down a couple of years ago, had a great time. :nixweiss:

Great job, Simon! :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: You mean you haven't been to the North Pole? :nixweiss:

Just what have you got against Manitoba and Saskatchewan, Simon?... ;D :huepfenjump3: :bananarock: :huepfenlol2:
Good deal on the map coverage, dude. I've got a couple more states (8 actually) and mine will be all colors, too.

And Hawaii? :nixweiss:
;)
Great travels, good memories! :2vrolijk_21:

I prefer North Dakota and Montana? :)

Hey Simon,
You've traveled great distances but as you know, you still have miles to go.
You can easily knock off three at once and make a beautiful trip for yourself by visiting Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland in one trip!
Take care & ride safe,
Mike

I need to retire so I can ride like Simon. I have rode in Alaska, a rental. I have got 42 of the continental states on my bike and two Canadian provinces. I have rode in 3 of the state I have not got on my bike yet. My goal is to ride my bike to 49 States.
I have also rode my bike on the following Islands; Bermuda, St. Thomas, St. Kits, St. Matin, Puerto Rico, Dominica and Barbados.

2017, in retirement, I rode 49 states and 6 provinces.
2016, still employed, I rode 48 states and 1 province (Ontario).
I did not spend a lot of time in any one state other than my home state and local states like CO, UT and AZ.
There is an IronButt challenge to ride 48 states in 10 days. I took a bit longer for my 48 as I did it in 3 different trips of about 7 days per trip.

That is pretty impressive for working Simon. My problem is I like to spend a little time in each state seeing it.
That is quite the ride, 48 in 10 days. Wow

Good problem. I need to spend more time in some of the states I've "visited". Utah is a state I have visited a couple of times now. I'll be back to a lot of the others for extended stays.
Interestingly, time in the saddle for the "ride" is also very therapeutic.

It really is. I really enjoyed and was fully rejuvenated when I returned home from my SS1000 and BB1500. I'm actually looking at doing a BB1000 this time off just cause, do a 500 out and back in 16 hours.

Interestingly, I finished a SS1000 last weekend. It was off the beaten path with photos required at 9 stops. 10 of us started, 9 finished. One person did it in 17.5 hours. The rest of us were around 19 hrs 10 minutes.
The last 3 photos were in the dark.

That sounds interesting. Was it one of the Tour of Honor rides?

Not Tour of Honor though I think we passed 3 of the TOH locations including NM Vietnam Memorial.
