Here's an anniversary Springer that just showed up on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/08-FXSTSSEE-105th-Edition-434-1050-Great-Looking-/230486872143?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item35aa16904f#ht_7770wt_1161

It's a car dealer, so I'm sure the bike could be bought with a phone call...

He must have been booking an '09 when he placed a starting bid of $21,600 ..... 'bout an 18.5 bike.  Maybe he thinks the non-existent add on for an "anniversary" model may catch some ebayer ....

Almost there....I finally found a dealer that has a NEW 2008 FXSTSSE CVO Screamin' Eagle Softail Springer, 105th Anniversary Edition.....the bike I have been searching for.

I still have not found a dealer in my area that has one to demo a Springer. I have demo'd the Softail Fatboy and Heritage Classic, the Fatboy just doesn't fit me where as the Heritage Classic does. I don't know if I could stand the forward controls for a long ride and the floorboards offer several positions.

I only have money for ONE bike (sadly) and would like to make the correct choice. I have come from a Honda GW and want to loose the dresser look. I can take the saddlebags off the Heritage Classic and put on a solo seat and bib.

The '08 doesn't have the catalytic converters where the 2010 does and I am wondering about the added heat.  I also like the '09 CVO Springer for the added changes they made from '08 to '09.

Decisions, decisions, decisions!!!

My concern is the ride and drive.  The longest day trip will about 300 miles, I just don't want to pull the wrong trigger!
