Windshield Hand Grab Hole...

Anyone thought of a nice looking way to close off the oval opening at the base of the windshield?  I rode in heavy rain a lot yesterday and it seems like a lot of water comes through it.  I`ve been trying to come up with an idea to block it off that looks acceptable.

would it really make a difference considering that you would still be sitting completely open in the heavy rain?  :nixweiss:

LOL...Actually it isn`t me I`m trying to keep dry!  I just want to eliminate the water seeping into the hinged cover compartment on the fairing.

Wow! Harley Duct Tape ... everything has a HD logo ! !

My 2010 doesn't have the hole, but I have used a 1 inch thick piece of stiff poly foam cut to tight fit for similar situation.   When needed you simply work it into the hole and since it doesn't take in water it deflects the rain.  When sun comes out again, simply pull it out and store.

Might not look pretty when your using it, but when your riding in the rain who's looking at your hole  :huepfenjump3: and you can pull it out when you stop.
