Audio Source Not Always Remembered
« on: September 21, 2020, 09:00:20 PM »

I have a 2020 CVO Limited with the GTS system. I would say once every 6-7 starts, the GTS system doesn't remember that when I turned the bike off while on XM radio, when I turn the bike back on, it will go to the USB. It never goes to FM or AM or phone, only to the USB.
I have the latest GTS update. Bike has done it since new. In fact, I seem to recall that my previous 2017 non CVO Limited with the GT system would also occasionally do it.
Anyone else have this issue?

Have you checked to see if the usb is set as a favorite. Mine did just the opposite. Every few times it would revert back to xm and I did not subscribe so it was annoying. Finally figured out the dealer had set it as a favorite and would default to that when it did not know what to do.

My 16 used to revert to FM every few starts but havent experienced anything like that with my 2020, lots of other complaints about GTS but that isnt one of them.  What Threephase said, check the settings for it being a favorite.

Darn. I thought that was a good suggestion. Ran to garage to check it and I have a choice of six favorites (press & hold) with none selected. But thanks anyway.

I think they all do it some times.  I also think it has
to do with when you hit the start button it the boot
sequence!!! By the way both my 14 and my 19 do it some times.

Good to know. Maybe it's the nature of the beast. Thank you
