SERKEGUCI?
« on: March 26, 2004, 11:51:05 AM »

Here's some pics of what I've been doing to my SERK. See it's like this.. I ride with a bunch of ultra classic riders and I was always Getting a bunch of ?hit every time we got caught in bad weather. What a surprise I gave them when I showed up with my roadking lokking like this. All they do now is walk around it...stare at it...and shake their heads. Pretty crappy pics I know, but I'll get some better ones later. Right know it's off to Arizona Bike week. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Hey GB,  i see you have the tour pak installed.  In order to install the tour pack you had to remove the filler strips to mount the bracket.  Question, do you know if you need to remove the filler strips for the chopped tour pack?? thanks serk103

Hey Serk103, Actually I cheated a little. I just loosened the bolts on the filler strips, removed the one where the mount attaches to the bike along with that thickass washerl and squeezed the mount in there (without the thickass washer). re-tightened everything and I was good to go [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

It came with the tallest clear windshield they have for it. As far as putting in on and taking it off, It takes me about 5 seconds to remove and maybe 15-20 seconds to install. It uses the stock mounts that the SERK came with. It took me longer to assemble the damn thing than anything else. I had to completely disassemble it to have it painted. [smiley=blank.gif]

Lowers were bought on ebay. Actually bought them as 2 separate bids. each was a different color when I first got them. [smiley=confused5.gif]
