Father-Son Bonding
« on: June 03, 2004, 06:08:47 PM »

Took off this past weekend and rode with My son back out to Colorado where he is living. He flew in on Thursday, we left Iowa Saturday morning and  went through South Dakota, Wyoming and Colorado in three days/1200 miles. Did Wall Drug, Rushmore, Iron Mountain Road, Needles Highway, Wildlife Loop thing in South Dakota. Then Big Thompson canyon in Loveland to Estes Park, then Highway 7 and 72 back to Idaho Springs. Left the Son in Silverthorne, CO on day 4 and beat it home 825 miles. 4 days, 2100 miles and lots of fun. Thought these photos could be a Sturgis Primer for ya. I am sure you have seen the sights if you have made the trip. This makes our 11th trip through the area since 1992 and many good memories of riding together.  [smiley=beerchug.gif]
