Shark Guy Wanting To Go Batty...
« on: June 23, 2016, 02:45:37 PM »

I'll start by saying this is not my bike and I'm only helping my neighbor.  I know he does not have a service manual so I'm on my own.

Being a shark nose guy and my neighbor looking for some help with his bars on his new '16 SESG, is there any tricks on the outer fairing that I should know?  On my shark I have hit in the middle and push up at the same time to release the clips to get the outer fairing off.

Thanks.

I've not looked yet very closely as our schedules have not been in sync this week.  Is there a small cover to remove to access the bar clamps?  If yes, after it's off I'm guessing I'll have all the room I need to do the wiring extensions and get to the bar clamps.  I'm still thinking that the front outer has to come off.

Any help in the proper direction would be greatly appreciated.

Have a great weekend.

I could explain it, but watching this guy is easier and will make more sense..

How much easier can that be???  Thanks for the link.  I found "some", but this one is very good.

Thanks.
