Really,

Especially You SKIPPY. (You are really going to love this bike !) has been
with me since you posted that message.

And the rest of you guys with your warm welcome to this spot.

You all are in a special club of your own, I hope I can uphold that feeling
within myself that I recognize of you.

I am very HUMBLE to be so priviledged to be able to fulfill this dream of
owning the most beautiful factory built HD I have ever seen.

The Bike is still at the Dlrshp awaiting special ordered upgrades, so there
are no pic's at this time.

See you Guy's next year at Daytona.  I will be the one with the Pascal
(Jester) black half helmet with the biggest smile :2vrolijk_21:.......Semper Fi, Jack

PS  Sgt Todd Herman is awaiting discharge from his assignment at National
Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Md.  With him he will carry the Honor of being
an asset to the contribution of 2nd Marine Division, Light Armored Reconnaissance
'Delta Co' (OUTLAWS) and their award of a Presidential Unit Citation 2004.

Man, that's $45.71 per pound.  Not too bad if you look at it that way.

SKIPPY,

It kind of goes like this:    $24,995
                                   + freight & prep
                                   -chrome bobtail fender rack
-custom medium low sissy bar upright
                                   -medium low passenger backrest pad
                                   -detachable side plates
-not to mention the hardware to get there
                                   -Kuryakyn switchblade pegs
                                   -    "       long horn brake pad
                                   -     "       4141 travel bag
                                   -HD amber light pod kit
                                   -7 year mechanical warranty
-wheel & tire warranty to match
                                    $30,506++

Stroked a ck for $30,000 to a dlr that insisted full pop and they took it.
$1500+ for riding apparel that I purchased before the Bike, comes to $32,000++ value
and with the SERT and pipes after 1000 miles, and all the little do dads to cover up bare
bolt heads etc., I can easily imagine I will be somewhere between $35 & $40k where I was
having the biggest problem mentally on a $25k Bike. I finally got passed the mental part
when I accepted the fact that this Bike is well  worth $30+ just for the extras CVO put
on.
My parts man said they parted out a Deuce SE awhile back with over $32k value and I
believe they went a bit further on this one.

I would like to buy you a beer this summer.  I owe it to you.

We have a 3 bike enclosed trailer (friends) that we will be taking down for Myrtle Beach
in a few weeks........S/F   Jack

Gentlemen,  Just a follow up with little or no worth.  I did not go to MB.  During a trial loading of the 3 bikes into the trailer, someone dropped my bike inside the trailer, luckily without any damage.  At this point a critical decision not to continue with this trip overwhelmed me.

So,  SKIPPY I never made it there to even try to look you up.  SORRY, STILL OWE YOU A COLD ONE :drink:

Wow, nine months to come clean.  I hope Skippy doesn't hold grudges.  Did your trailer lack chocks?

jgeorge102 kind of goes like this:  My friends just a few weeks earlier acquired a beautiful 3 bike trailer with the purpose of all of us taking on this trip.  We finally got together to do a trial run on a trial loading.  First time for all of us.  I had just gotten off my bike since they had it in place with teatherd lines and all chocks in place, when all of a sudden from my disadvantage point I see one of the lines come loose and the rest is history

I will not swear to you that the beer or anything else had anything to do with it :wink2:

glad I wasn't there to see my new bike fall.  Did they get better at loading?  I'm certain beer had nothing to with it.  It makes me smarter, a better dancer, and my wife better looking.  What could be wrong with that?  Only down side is having to do everything on the weekends with one hand..... :drink:
