I agree.

Wholeheartedly?  Or with some question or equivocation?  Personally, and this is just me of course, but I find his musical reference less than inspired.  Just not to my taste...

Enjoy your new motorcycle. I am cut from another cloth. If I had an agreed on price at the dealer ahead of time. And they send out paperwork with a higher price, I would tell them to stick that bike where the sun don't shine. I know, they can sell it to someone else for more. But they would lose my business forever. My word is good, and I expect people I deal with to be just as honest with me. My word has no price tag.

I agree.

It is what it is Dave. Just because they are your go to dealer still doesn’t mean they don’t have shady dealings. I have spent a lot of money on bikes as well as accessories and dealing with them was a scam. But I guess I should have just shut up. Signed and paid $5,000 over said price after the agreement and never mention their unethical business practices. Their straight up lies. Whether people want to hear it or not a lot of go to dealers are scamming people for worshipping the almighty dollar and they showed their hands to me.
It is what it is. Sorry if it offends you or anyone else as that is not my intent. My intent was to just warn people about doing business with them under Stuart’s management and Kev the Rev as the sales agent.

My experience there has been totally opposite of that.  They have treated me very well, they have treated my wife well.  Many of my friend have been treated very well by them.  That is not who I have used as a sales rep or manager.  I have even bought a bike from them for my wife by text message.

They have never changed the price on me in an upward direction.  Always negotiate the price and then pay what we agree on.  A couple times we could not get together on the numbers, and I walked, no hard feelings.  I have had 8 members of my MC purchase bikes there, some more than one.

Not saying it cant go south or a bad deal.  It's just not the norm in many peoples experience.

I have ordered a Badboyz Cyclez Freedom seat for it. Has anyone had any experience with these?

Signed and paid $5,000 over said price after the agreement.

Okay, thanks for letting us know what happened.  Was the agreement in writing, on paper, a verbal agreement, or an open agreement? How did the unexpected $5000 over come into play?

I respect that very much. Heck the only reason I even tried dealing with them is what I have read from posting about them over the years. I attribute the coarse dealings on the salesman and his manager. I generally visit them several times a year when I am in town riding in the local area. I have bought plenty of parts from the and used their service department a couple of times. However when I go to buy the CVO from them everything went south quickly. I respect you and your opinion but have lost all respect for SMHD all around. I will leave it at that and hope you have a blessed evening.
That is one beautiful bike the OP has and hope he enjoys it for many years to come.

I have not used their seat, but have heard good things about it.  I do use their CVO riders back rest and its a very good product.

I've never financed a Harley, CVO or otherwise,  but I am curious why the Credit Union is worried about what MSRP is? I assume your trade was at least partially paid for and you are not so upside down on the new bike that the value was more than the loan so why do they care? It sounds like they were afraid they were issuing a check for more than the value of the bike. I guess if so it would make sense.
