That would so suck.  I was looking for them.   All of us.  Them.  Then we were they and they were gone.  And I could hear 'em talking to us.  All by myself man.  Everyone of me.  They were talking to US.  And you said stop.  But you didn't.  And then it was done.  Never to happen again.  Or even to have happened, like, at all man.  So we tried over.  And there was this glow.  Huge, bright, and kinda dark like.  Plaid.

That explains most all of the laws of the universe, but it still does not give the ulterior motives for Durwood Kirby.  Some things remain inexplicable.  I almost cried man, like, wow.

As the world turns, spinning slowly like a windmill in my mind in ever increasing circles, the contemplation of 100 fathoms of cat puke almost left me speechless.  Unfortunately the descriptor utilized was 'almost' instead of 'completely', which would have negated this particular effort.  Way out in the universe a teeny tiny itty bitty ensy little wee grain of sand read your post and is bashing its infinitely small noggin against a window pane in the vane hope that somehow, it will get through.  I hope you are happy now, sand leader-oner.  The other grains of sand are chuckling at it & it doesn't even know why.

I almost did trip over an electrical cord, but thanks to your post, I did not.  I checked and so far nothing is broken and thanks for warning me about the cord.
