Is the attached picture the product you are speaking of? Wanted to make sure since it doesn't include "brake cleaner" on it. TIA.

That's the same stuff I have. I got home from work and was there long enough to get a shower and forgot to look at the bottle. Now at the hospital with my daughter waiting on my first granddaughter to get here.

Forgot to add, that stuff works great on my car wheels.

Agree!
🛵

Funny you post that pic as I'm trying to prepare myself mentally to be in that exact spot in late August. I've done some 1k solo rides lately and while my bike is sound I need some help.  :drink:

If you’re planning Pikes Peak, do Mt Evans also, then you’ll have the highest paved road in the US!
You can do them both in one day.

If you’re talking the “Lost Coast” be careful. Long nasty gravel roads.

FYI; I have a couple gallons of Eagle 1 A-2-Z on hand. I went out and checked, no where could I find anything saying not to use on Motorcycles. I have been using this stuff, liberally, since the '90's. It is not a etching product and I promise will not hurt anything on the bike in the brake/suspension category that is COOL. I personally would not use any cleaning product on a hot surface. I literally drowned the wheels/tires/brake rotors & brake calipers. Lightly scrub the tires and use a micro fiber sponge on the wheels & brakes.
Was pretty sure I saw it on there. Last line in the yellow instructions written in English.

Mine doesn't have that line, but it is commercial grade container, not consumer & I have been & will continue to use it, liberally. Don't use it if you don't want to. But a chrome wheel is a chrome wheel, regardless of whether it is on a bike or semi.

Agreed 100%. I'd almost be willing to say it has the disclaimer due to people not properly rinsing off their tires/wheels thoroughly and this stuff being kinda slick. Smaller contact patch on a bike vs a car.

When I read that I was wondering if it was "slick" and that was the concern. With that being said I would only use it on the wheels of my bike and not the tires. I do use tire dressing on the wheels of the bike but I don't get it on the treads for the reason they are probably concerned of.

Not to be used as a tire dressing as I don't know anyone that does that. Comment directed at the point of trying to keep it off the tires while using it on the rims or getting any of it off of the tires that may make it's way onto them.

I wasn't implying or thinking of using it as such... only commenting on the concern of it being slick as to not getting it on the tread. However, I do think that disclaimer is probably a "cover their @$$" statement to prevent any liability for the mis(stupid)use of the product. Since I do and have used on all my motorcycle tires some type of dressing to make them shine and probably if I had read the fine print on all the products I've used that disclaimer may have been on some/all of them. As long as you use caution and don't get any product that may be slick on the treads IMO it's a non issue.

If you’re planning Pikes Peak, do Mt Evans also, ......You can do them both in one day.

....... but i wouldn't
.... Pikes Peak is a 3 hr RT during tourist season
....... then ya gotta go 2 hrs north & west to get to the approach to Evans
...... that's about when the thunderclouds roll in , and you don't really want to be above tree line in a thunder/lightning event.

ps: Pikes Peak highway is also closed to private vehicles above Glen Cove, to enable construction of the New Summit house.  free Shuttle buses take take you from Glen Cove pkg lot to the current summit house & back down.
