2017 CVO Limited for a midget

(1/1)

snowmobile:
I had a 2013 cvo and just bought a 2017 CVO limited what is everyone doing to get more room i am 6' 1" and i feel confined, no room for feet, too short on the seat, controls, handlebars ext. Just curios what everyone has done. Also what has people doing for the GPS it is always sending me down a dirt road LOL Thanks Joe

ultra13:
At least 10" apes.

SIKBIRD:
Are you sure it has the factory, unmodified seat?  I am 6’1” too and my bike, being a 2004, has a shorter frame than yours but I don’t feel cramped at all.  I did recently replace the factory handlebars with LA Choppers 10” Twin Peaks and that made a huge difference in comfort but even with the factory bars I never felt cramped.  As far as the footboards, I added a 1” extension kit from   eglidegoodies which really helped to get my legs out away from the A/C and tank and also made all the real estate on the footboards usable, before I could only use about 1/2.  Also the extended shifter arms and brake arm made more room for my size 13 boots.

motor1:
Find a new seat that has a longer seat for you and a smaller passenger pillion before you change anything thing else

rigidthumper:
Mean City Cycles can rework your seat to move you up to a couple inches, and maybe add floorboard relocation brackets (moves boards out 1" & forward 1").
