Title: Complete Fullsac set-up, what's a fair price?
Post by: Rio on March 17, 2013, 10:33:07 AM
Fullsac system has about 1,200 miles on it.  Head pipe, heat shields, stock mufflers with 2.25 cores.  I think after all is said and done, I'm going to put either the Rinehart 2-1 or V&H High output 2-1.  What's a reasonable selling price for my system?

Are you asking what you should sell the system for? Usually 50% of the new price is fair.

Changing to a 2 into 1 system isn't going to make a huge difference except to your wallet. And unless the 2 into I comes with a false left pipe you may not like the looks of it on a touring bike. I've gone that route in the past and the bike did feel a bit stronger in all gears but it was not as impressive as I thought it would be. However, it did make a lot more noise!

I actually think I will like the look, open up left side show chrome wheel and chrome belt guard, she'd some weight as by product?

Rio,
I'm going to this setup very soon, why would you get rid of a system that many would love to have?
Is there any pros or cons that you have? I have heard that people are waiting in line like the lines for government cheese only to get their greasy hands on this awesome setup...
Just wondering...

No specific reason other than change?  I had the 2.0 baffles, they were OK, but I prefer a bit louder so I have the 2.25 and their great.  I plan on getting the Day Maker LEDs, and changing the mufflers or entire system.  I don't know, I just feel like I have to do something different to my bike every spring :nixweiss:  Something about the look of the stock mufflers I don't car for ?

I got $350 for the c pipe, but I have to install it for that.

I think around $500 would be a good deal for somebody.

I just hope that i am happy for mean time with the 2.25's and then later I can get the thunderheader a or rineharts...

Thanks...

I'm looking at this system for my '10 SESG, give me a yell when you're ready to sell.

I had the Rineharts on my 2010.  I liked them, but you have to like loud.  I had the 2.50 baffles and the bike sounded great.  No experience with Thunderheaders?

I'm going to sell the knock-offs and if I stay with duals, I'm going to get Kerker Stouts.  Similar sound no tuning issues, or V&H Pro Pipe 2/1.  Cold out still, either way I will have to pay for a tune.  Got time to think about it?
