If you eat at the hotel, I recommend the rainbow trout.

I forgot to add, if you delayed your trip to be at the same time as the H-D Rally in Knoxville you would be in for a treat.  That is the same time that the Womens Sport Bike Rally is and it's being hosted at this hotel.

Thanks :2vrolijk_21: From what I understand there is not much else to do close/near there. :nixweiss: I'll actually be staying in one of the cabins for the night. I would imagine after getting a meal we will go back to cabin and share some beverages and some cigars.

Hmm, better keep to my current schedule. That might be just to much temptation. I might want to let one of them take me for a ride. :P

Jock,

Great pictures!  After 2 back surgeries I can't dirt bike anymore, but it looks like it's a blast!  Gonna miss riding with you in Nelson.  It was great riding together last year in CC.

If you are speaking of my bike that would be a (and GOD forbid me to say the word on this site) Kawasaki KLR650 Dual Purpose Bike.

Ernie,

WOW...After two back surgeries I am surprised you ride at all...GOD bless ya my friend.

I really want to go to Nelson, however I cannot given our company's event in Boston.  That is a MUST attend for me and I cannot get out of it.  Thought I was going to be able to ride to it and explore the area.  That is not the case either.  Therefore, I am reviewing the option to make it to Big Daddy's event or Bill's event.

Bottom Line - We will ride again has I have plans to make it to the West Coast by next year.

Jock

I had a 98 KLR 650.
Change the muffler, rejet the carb and add some good shocks.
It's a hell of a machine used for the purpose it was intended for.
Seat height was a little high overall a great bike.
And 60 miles to the gallon!
