Oh yeah...I hit a bump coming out of PEI towards Moncton...cracked my right Highway peg right off...never found it.

Chuck, I have a book somewhere titled "motorcycling through Nova Scotia" or something similar.  I got on line and ordered it from the Nove Scotia web site.  If you are interested I will see if I can find it.
I did a week there a couple of years ago.  Beautiful scenery but the roads suck.  Two seasons up there.....winter and road construction.
Take you tools so you can refasten the hardware on your bike.

That's exactly what I am talking about.  After 5 days in NS we took the ferry to PEI and first stop was the Harley dealer there.  3 our of the 4 bikes had to be serviced for loose parts.  My front header pipe broke loose after both bolts sheared off.
When we got back to Portland we dropped the rental bikes back at Big Moose HD and ran like hell !!!!!!!!!!!!

That's too funny that you were on rentals. We won't be there for that long, but I think I'll definitely remember extra wrenches and loc-tite. Thanks for the heads up.
