Oh CHIT! That means Jerry (utrafx) is due for a new rear jug in his 110. We will see if the 110 fix will last more than the original since his was changed right before he left to go on the Posse ride.
No chit.  There we were and the head gasket seems fine.  They did replace the rear jug when they did the head gaskets before we left.  Here we are with Jorge & Martha at the farewell breakfast.

Made it to BC yesterday.  Road almost 400 mile today thru some beautiful mountain roads and just pulled in to Valemount for the night.  Tomorrow heading in to Jasper and thru the Jasper National Park and down to Lake Louise and Banff.  Road trip so far when we pulled in to the motel was exactly 5,600.4 miles.  Have about 3,000 to go before we get back home next week.

Jerry...if you have the time, take the boat trip out on Lake Maligne (sp?)...spectacular!!  The ride from Jasper to Banff is the most beautiful ride you'll ever do.  Side trips are possible to Emerald Lake, Angel Glacier...don't miss Lake Louise and Lake Moraine with the Valley of the Ten Peaks.  Well worth the time/effort, if time allows.  You are in for a real treat, my friend!!

Here is a pix of us up in the mountains.  Beautiful.  Terry, did not have time for the boat ride but did see the lakes and took ski lift / gondola up Lake Louise Glacier ski area.  Awesome view of the ten peaks.

MJZ, I spoke too soon about the rear head gasket.  Did not think it was leaking but couple drops of oil on left side today confirmed that it in fact is.  This is on the replacement rear cyl and head gasket with about 6k on it.  Bummer.  Anyone know if the moco has concluded what the problem is and what the fix is.  In it will have to go when I get back.  Otherwise it is running fine and strong.  No problems there, thank goodness!

Thanks.  Don't forget that I've got a blog going about our little road trip:  http://sheriffandqueen.blogspot.com/

Working my arse off keeping this thing as up to date as I can.  Sounded like a good idea but here it is 11:15 pm after a long day and I'm still on the computer.  Well it'll be worth it when we're back home and can review what I posted about the trip.  And it'll help HQ with here scrapbooking of all the photos so I know I'll be glad I did it.

Great job on the blog. Enjoyed all your pictures. That wind in The Columbia Gorge can pick you off your bike. The locals pray for a east wind (nice calm day) and the wind surfers pray for a west wind, you apparently hit the west wind no fun to ride into. Lolo Pass is nice riding.

CHIT!!! Jerry I really hate to hear what I expected to hear about your engine. It sucks they have no real clue what the problem is so I guess they are just going to rebuild it every 6K miles, as long as it is in warranty. Glad to hear all else is going well and thanks for the updates and pictures. Look forward to hearing all about the trip.

Got back yesterday about noon time from our road trip - HOG Posse Ride and then return via Canada, 29 days, 8,318 miles.  Whew, glad to be home.

Added a few more "places visited" to the map.

These are all places visited on my motorcycle traveling from my home and back.  No fly & ride, no rentals, no trailering.

Bill, you got me there on Hawaii for sure.  Doubt I'll be going to Alaska or the northern Canadian provinces from home either.  Want to get up to Newfoundland and Nova Scotia, etc., but anything else will have to be fly & ride, etc.

Don't mean to insinuate that fly & ride does not count.  Just wanted to say that I have not done it.

Gary, glad you were able to follow us along.  I had second thoughts about the blog because some nights I was up way too late getting it done.  But I am glad I did.  Many of our friends here have followed and now I have a great journal to recall what happened when.  Would like to have gotten more detailed but time (and energy) just would not permit more that I did.
