Hogasm & Jock Ride To Naitram's

One of the distinct pleasures I obtain from being a member of this site is the ability to spend time with others that have some of the same passions as I.  This has allowed me to take several journeys that I may have otherwise not taken and I appreciate this outcome.

Last year I was fortunate enough to take the trip up to Naitram’s first annual ride in New England and was not disappointed.  So when I read his post that he was going to conduct that event again this year it was a must have on the list.

As I posted my intention of attending this year’s ride I was contacted by Hogasm with his interest in attending too.  Hogasm and I conducted a similar trip to Q, Yes for today last year and enjoyed the area.  Just made sense to go back and enjoy it again.

Chapter One – The Ride to Fired00d and That Experience

We spoke and decided it would be nice to take another direction to the area and hook up with another site member in their backyard…Fired00d.  With that being stated it was time to head towards Charlottesville, VA



Charlottesville, VA is named after Sophia Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, the queen consort of King George III of the United Kingdom.  Charlottesville is best known as the home to three US Presidents, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and James Monroe, as well as the home of the University of Virginia.

Since I arrived slightly earlier than Hogasm I had an opportunity to walk downtown and see some of the surroundings.



Here is the Lewis and Clark Memorial located near the town square.

If you visit the city there is free transportation in the form of a trolley.

As I walked back to the hotel I received a call from Hogasm stating he was in town and I just arrived in the lobby.
