Man, you're livin' the dream there! A woman who loves riding, a trip to Carmel & Monterey and beautiful weather. Thanks for sharing the report and photos! It's been several years since I've been to Monterey, miss it so!

JC is living the dream! But what people don't realize is that the man has worked his ass off many years to get there.
Most things that come easy in life are not worth having. A lot of hard work got him there and he deserves every minute of the dream he gets.
JC, looking good and maybe someday me and Nancy can ride that route!
And hopefully with you and Terrie!

Looking good JC,,,,,,,,,can we see that when we come out?

 :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

Carmel and Monterey are a "must see" for anybody coming out.....but then so is Yosemite National Park, the Redwoods, Napa Valley, the Golden Gate, Big Sur, Lake Tahoe, Mt. Shasta, etc. and they're all in Nor Cal! :2vrolijk_21:  So much to see and do and so little time........

Thanks so much for bring us along.  My wife and I have been wanting to go on a nice weekend trip and your pics brought us a warm smile thinking about getting out of Michigan and leaving the snow behind.

Thanks again.

And 17 mile road past Pebble Beach is full of some incredible views too, even though you have to drive it in a cage  (or risk the wrath of the really rich folks security guards).

Yea, I had Jim put that on when he had the front end all torn apart.

She told me yesterday that she didn't think she'd like it on the bike because she didn't think she'd be able to look at it while riding but she really likes having it, now.  Of course I don't think the XM part of that hurts, either. ;D  Got her the Garmin 2730 Street Pilot since she's already familuar with it from our cars and trucks........and a whole lot cheaper than the zumo. :nixweiss:

Thought you were stopping by. I rushed home but you never came. We missed seeing you. Tell Terrie I do want to do the over nighter with her but Its gonna be a little tough right now. Next time you go to Monterey swing through and pick us up . :)

We originally planned to stop but got to Hilmar quicker than we expected and didn't think anybody would be there so we kept riding right on through town.

I did tell Don that we'd call the next time we got ready to do a weekender someplace.  Ours are usually pretty spontaneous and last minute decisions (we decided on this one Friday mid-morning).  Not sure when the next will be.  Gotta get Terrie's bars changed.
