For what its worth Chip & I did a red lights race and he left me like I was on a Honda 50 [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]. Shifting from 2nd to 3rd we witnessed his bike busting the tire loose and getting a bit sideways. Thats torque!! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Wow, some nice pictures, but you sure are missing some color [smiley=jalapeno.gif].

I guess I would be the teal that stayed back at the hotel.  I am definitely disappointed that Bling-boy (HD-Bling) and I couldn't catch up to you guys.  Thanks for stalling to try and wait for us, but I am glad you didn't wait too long.

My brother in-law ran into some trouble with his brakes and lights.  after messing with it for a while, I convinced him to head out to Freedom cycles.  I figured with all the good things I have heard about them, that they would be able to take care of him.
Sure enough, they rolled him right in and messed with it until they figured out how to at least get the brakes worjking and give him lights at least from the pedal.  Took a little longer than we wanted, kept us from catching up to you guys, but it was nice of them guys at Freedom to step up and jump in and take care of us the way they did.

Hey Chip, we saw your dyno sheet there at Freedom... pretty impressive.
In fact you gave HD-Bling a big-o case of engine envy !!!
He's already talking about getting some work done in the spring.  Ooops, I guess I let the cat out of the bag a little there.

Thanks again all for stalling to give us a chance to catch up, I appreciate the effort.

By the way, I made it over to the dyno-drags shortly after Bling, JC, HD-dude, etc... left (once again a little off on the timing)  anyway I witnessed a kid on a Kawasaki, crotch rocket.  They let him go 3/4 mile to see what he could get that thing up to on the last drag.
He pulled 178 MPH and 154 H.P.
Pretty impresive !!!

Heard some parents next to me say, they were going to take away there sons bike after seeing what that kid did on the dyno-drag.

Vanamal

You have mail

Also got this e-mail from Chip this morning.

"Morning Baby!

Here are a few thoughts after reading from the site.

That Vanamal is a great guy. Was so glad Brad had a chance to correct his map. That's
a fine running machine.
Even as elusive as Vanamal was, it was a pleasure to ride with him.

I was excited when HD-Bling wore out that other guy on the dyno. Brad can work his
magic if Bling wants to make a good running machine even better.

As far as playing with Hubbard, come on now! Even he knows better! I spent my money
to make the SEEG the best and most dependable 103 that I could set my but on. Hubbard
has paid and earned the right to be the top dog. I wouldn't want to take that away
from him. As everyone knows, money buys horsepower. I chose to spend my money on
planes, hotels, lights (hd-dude is da MAN!) and the opportunity to meet those "West
Coast" guys.  For a man that can never have too much horsepower, I would gladly
give up a few  to ride with those guys again.

As you know I have joined the organization known as ECTA-LSR. Their web site is
www.ecta-lsr.com.
It is my goal to make preliminary runs this October to prepare for a spring run
at the record for the class the SEEG would be in. That's why that fourth goal as
listed on the dyno posting of producing enough power from that 103 at 6000 is so
important.

So do you want to ride with me on the 03 classic or ride the Lowrider to the fall
rally at the beach this weekend? Whether behind me or beside me, just having you
there makes me happy. Your choice! I have made a reservation at the same place Hubbard
and Otis are staying.
Don't let me forget to get the feather duster from the laundry room. Might need
to dust "Ol Maude" again like Maggie Valley

Love you Nancy
Chip "
