Terrie and I got up early yesterday morning and headed up to the hills and Hwy. 49. Our destination was to Sonora to hook up with Roger & Melanie (Trapperdog and SGChick).

We stopped in Murphys for lunch.....spent several hours there before riding on over to Columbia State Park. From there we rode on over to Sonora and on up to Roger and Melanie's mountain home.

Here's Terrie sitting in their driveway as we prepare to ride up to the lake at Pinecrest.

Roger took pictures once we arrived up at Pinecrest. After we left the lake we rode back down to Sonora to have dinner at a nice Mexican Restaurant....great place, but I don't remember the name.

This morning they let Terrie and I sleep in.....I think we got up about 7:00a.m. We all got ready and started back down the mountain taking the long way.

We took O'Byrnes Ferry Rd. over to Copperopolis, stopping on the way at Lake Tulloch to let the dogs out.....

With Roger leading, we rode miles and miles at slow speed on a very old one lane road and saw some incredably beautiful views and countryside.......

JC is being nice. We rode 10 miles at 10 MPH. I guess there was a reason the road's name is "Rock Creek Road". It looked promising on the map

Was a great looking ranch.......but we're lucky nobody was wanting to leave.......

It was a great weekend. We enjoyed riding with Roger & Melanie and I sure was glad that Roger was leading........

It was a great day to ride yesterday. We were up in the same area yesterday too. Had to go to columbia for are favorite little frosty ice cream! Looks like you had a good ride and got some great pics too. Did you go to Jamestown for the chili Cook off ?

Roger and I rode by Jamestown on our way up to the house Saturday...but didn't have time to stop. We were wondering what was going on. Looks like they had a great turnout for the Chili cookoff! Glad you two got out to ride! What gorgeous weather. See you next weekend!

We don't get our camera out nearly enough! So glad you two made it up for the weekend. We had a great time riding with you and Terrie and look forward to doing a lot more in the future!!

I was sorry I didn't get to see your LED's (I'm sure Roger wasn't sorry though!) Hope to see them next weekend!

Looks like a great ride.I got the Ultra out for a 50 mile shakedown cruz yesterday(cool but no rain).First time out since I put the Brembos on the front,new front wheel etc. Clutch cable was the problem with fork lock,works great now(Thanks Roger!) Rain is supposed to return today but hope to get the old Roadking out for its first ride of the season.Have a great week!

Denny, Washington is such a beautifull state to ride in, but you sure pay the price with all the rain and snow you get! Glad you were able to get out for a bit and have some fun

I want to dedicate this thread to all those back east who are still having the big storms. Just saw the weather report and there are still areas of this country that are just being hammered. I've got empathy for those of you still going through it.
