Priceless! Soon she'll be on her own CVO.

Well.........    After riding the little dirt bike she told me, in her best "I'm sharing a secret" little voice, that she was never really sure she actually wanted a motorcycle when she was 16.  Even though she's been riding a little electric scooter of the type adults ride all over European inner cities for about a year now.  That was electric and it is obviously a scooter.  So it just wasn't the same.

So... after this confirmation that she's now sure she will want a bike when she's 16 she pivots on her doing a suprisingsly good about face away from her little green dirt bike and  looks over the SERG, the SEEG and the mostly completed SERK.  Points at the SERK and says "and I'll pick that one."  Then just wanders out in to the yard as if that's all there is to it....  :huepfenlol2:

She's smarter then you think... she knows if she gets one of yours it will be well maintained and when she gets it there will be nothing wrong with it or to worry about... as she said herself... "Born to ride"... she ain't got time to deal w/no dealer drama. :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

That's already the order of things I'm afraid.  Six weeks or so it was time to change oil and run the valves on her little ATV.  Asked her if she was ready to start doing oil changes on it since it was hers.  She didn't say a word.  But the look was priceless.  It was like "huh, what an entirely new concept, isn't that what you're here for?"  :huepfenlol2:

Kids are so Lucky today, with the high quality toys and such

I had a 2" x 4" with skate wheels nailed to it and called it a skateboard

Great Pics,  always nice to see our youth enjoying motorcycles as they are the future riders of our passion.
Built mine in shop class out of Mahogany and put a racing stripe out of maple down one side.  Held the metal skate wheels on with wood screws.  The coolest part was riding it with my buddies down Mr. Kettering's hill.  He was long gone however his wife would come out and give us water.

Still not as cool as getting your pick of Uncle Don's CVO's

What'll really suck will be when she asks if it can be repainted pink before she claims it as her own.... ???

Pretty cool Uncle Don.  So when do we get to start making some modifications to her new dirt bike?  I was thinking we should start with the exhaust.. ::)  :nixweiss:

I think you need to get the head diamond cut (after matching powdercoat is applied)!

Unfortunately the little beastie already had to be worked on.  When it got here noticed nothing ugly on the box.  But sometime in its handling a fork skid had pushed though and its tip had punctured the gas tank.

Fortunately that was all.  But didn't get the replacement tank until the day before Christmas.  Changed it that night and the damn bike wouldn't start.  Fooled around for an hour and a half doing anything and everything repeatedly before discovering that on its slow boat ride from China some bug had made a home in the float bowl.  Cocoon keeping the float from opening.  After that the thing starts easy and runs like a champ.
