Get your "Motor Running Head", out on the highway!

What we've got here is... failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it... well, he gets it. I don't like it any more than you men

This British gentleman really liked our bikes and wanted a photo of them.  I told him that if we could "dude him up" by turning his cap around he could have a picture on it.  His hat was around in about a tenth of a second and he was on it.  Is that a sincere smile or what.  JC got one on his but had to turn on the stereo to out do me.  This battle of the bikes is turning serious.

I don't seem to be able to open the pictures Bill.  I think they're holding your pics hostage to make us join. :nixweiss:

  :-X :-\ :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nervous: :'(

Left everybody to head for Lancaster on Tioga Road to meet up with riders going on to Pala.  Tioga Road was very deserted and with all of the views I must not have been paying attention, plus the speed limit keeps changing everytime there's a pinecone in the road.  Anyway Smokita the Ranger pulled me over.  She was very cautious (don't blame her, especially since my bike looks so badass).  Said she clocked me doing 56 in a 35 speed zone. (Glad I slowed down.)  Asked to see all my credentials with no sudden moves.  Told her I would need to open my jacket, she stepped back put her hand on her sidearm and told me no sudden moves.  Pulled out my license and handed it to her.  She then wanted to see my registration and proof of insurance.  Now I'm thinking, "Oh chit, they're in my saddle bag" and now I'm going to get shot getting them out.  Told her where and she said go ahead but move real slow, then put her hand on the sidearm and backed up out of my vision.  After producing it I backed away from the bike, she took it and proceeded to write it up.  She then made me get back on the bike so she could hand it to me and explain the means of handling it. She mainly focused on how I could plead guilty and pay it without appearing in CA court.  Afterwards asked me if I had any questions, and I requested a photo for our gathering website.  She allowed this but not with her in it.  (It would have been a real prize photo of her in it. She was a looker, blonde with a ponytail in her late 20's maybe, and fun after she loosened up.)  I'm glad she's real cautious being out in the middle of the wilderness. She could have offered to lower the ticket a couple of miles but we all know how women are sticklers for the rules. Especially the blondes, like my wife.  :confused5:

I still had 5 more hours of ridin and made it to Lancaster at 11:00 pm.

I'm going to figure out Flickr and will put all of the photos into a slideshow.

Don, Picturetrail is another site that you can load all your pics to, create a slide show and add music to.......

Here's a slide show (no music attached) of the very first West Coast GTG, in the penthouse suite at the El Dorado Casino in Reno.....   http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/slideshow/5298303

Should bring back some memoies for you too, Jock.  Also, today's ride home, Hwy. 88 down to Jackson will look familuar to you in the Carson City thread, too. :2vrolijk_21:
