Bill and I on the Original Rt. 66 Bridge on our way back to the Rt. 66 Casino/Hotel with everyone. A quick U-Turn as we couldn’t miss this. We snuck in between 2 wood pylons as the rope was lying on the ground. History, it’s just too precious to pass up. The bridge parallels I-40.

Glad you enjoyed our wonderful "Land of Enchantment". You got some nice pictures of the El Malpais and the Balloon Fiesta. The Fiesta is one of the biggest tourist attractions and draws people in not only from neighboring states but internationally as well.

Been going up to Eaglenest and that area for many years and its still beautiful everytime I go up there!! It's nice getting out of the heat of the desert and going up to 8500 ft. BLUU likes those cooler temps also.

Next summer I plan on going up there for about 2 1/2 weeks from the end of June and the first part of July. My cabin sits between Eaglenest and Cimmeron in Ute Park.

Great memories up there since the late 1950's and on!! If I could figure out how to make a living up there I would move up there in a heart beat!!
