On our bikes you'd better start looking for gas when the gauge is showing half full (if not before). ::) When gas stations are few and far between as they are out there better to stop often then worry about running out of gas in the middle of nowhere. [smiley=nervous.gif]

Yeh, your right.  It drops off real fast.  I think it is because the lowered suspension causes the gage to read falsely.  I ride with an adjustable air shock suspension.  If I have it raised fully, my warning light comes on with 1 gallon remaining.  If I ride fully lowered, it comes on with 1/2 gallon to go.  My stock suspension also warned me at 1/2 gallon.
