The new taillight has more light surface area and to me is much brighter than the standard light.

Big difference!

Chip, looks great.  Does the luggage rack on top of the tour pack have a light bar as well?  I know one is available, but didn't know if it came stock on the 09 SEUC.

Yes mine does have a light.

And it's only 40 bucks.

Looking at this light, I notice that the sides are chrome vs. clear, red, plastic like the stock one, this would seem to allow less light from the side. What have you seen with this?

Now here is with brakes on!


To answer your question there is maybe an 1/8 inch ring of light that shows from the taillight on the side of it.
But the real answer to your question is that from the side the lights on the tour pak are always on and even brighter when the brakes are on.

The look of the chrome is sweet!! I do like the light, I guess the lights on the tour pak provide enough light from the side, in the end, the tail is where we want the most light, looks like I'll be dropping another hundo!!!  :2vrolijk_21:
