Only had to guide him through one major intersection with oncoming traffic from both directions.
Well, then there was the truck going 20 mph in front of us. How he kept it running in third gear behind that, I'm not sure. I thought it was so funny when he said he hoped we could stop somewhere where he could get a cold drink. I'm thinking "I just hope he gets it stopped without dumping it and hurting himself or the bike" and he's worried about getting a cold beverage.
We bled the clutch and the rear brake in the parking lot of the motel and got burps of air from both. There were some signs of the clutch reservoir cover not being tight enough. Not sure what was up with the rear brake. All seems well, now. Hopefully, both hold up to the use and heat of a few more days here and then the ride home, too.
