Thanks for the warm welcome everybody. Here's my ride on our first actual adventure. Took the wife to Hocking Hills for her birthday and it's the first time a 4hr ride didn't produce a loud whining noise from the rear. She hated riding the VStar for more than an hour

Welcome to a great site and congrats of your beautiful new ride.

I kept mine for 10 years before selling it to a friend, so I get to still see it roaring down the street every now & then.

Glad to hear your wife is happy, (the nice cushy seat no doubt helps), now you can get busy "making it your own" as you mentioned.
