Last week I was able to lay my eyes on one of these in person. I loved it! Beautiful Bike, I know you are proud! This is a great site as you will find out. Enjoy the wealth of information here and may we someday split the wind together. God Bless!

You guys are Great, I am in the Low Country as well, my wife and I are Marines in Beaufort and love it here.  We are due to move up to North Carolina during the summer as it is our time for rotation.  This site has great information, but more importantly I am finding out that the people in particular make this a great site for info and just good ole talking!  If any of you are in my area or will be passing through, PLEASE drop me a line and I will be there to ride you through or steer you in a direction if you need a place to hang your hat!
My wife has recently got here bike license a year ago while I was in Afghanistan and she got herself a Buell.  I surprised her with a Street Bob when I got back and she got on it for the first time last weekend and there is no looking back for her now!!!  I am thinking the CVO Dyna is in her future if she continues to like the Street Bob.
Thanks for down sizing my photo, I will take a few more and get them on.

.....
Tim,
Semper Fi!!! (USMC '75 - '78) Last time I was in the vicinity of Beaufort SC I was doing "bends-n-thrusts". ;D I still have nightmares about sand fleas and that is from many years ago (PI Jun - Sept '75). You mention you're going to be moving to NC soon, would that be Lejuene? I also spent some time there and have a friend that lives in Wilmington that I visit yearly. Maybe we can hook up when I get down there this spring.

Fired00d,
Semper Fi back at you!
You crack me up, these Sand Fleas suck!!! LOL.  That is the only part of BFT that is a downfall, yet the retirees are coming here in flocks!!!  I was doing the Bends and thrusts for the first time in '89 and the memories come fluttering back each time I ride through PI.  Luckily I am on the Air Station for my job and love to swing with the wing!  We are headed back to Lejeune and heck yes we gotta hook up when you head to Wilmington.  As you know, great riding in that area too and not far from the MBBW spring and fall Rallies.
You take care and have fun,
S/F,
TimBone

Scott,
What mods have you done to your Scoot?

Let's see - Rinehart True Duals, ThunderMax with Auto Tune, Ness Big Sucker A/C, Brembo brakes and rotors front and rear, LED rear light strip (running and brake light), Garmin Zumo with XM, tons of MoCo chrome, Clearview recurve windshield, Legend Air suspension system, and more MoCo chrome, so far anyway... [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Pretty soon maybe it will be warm enough up north here so I can ride it, in the meantime, it is pretty cool to work on it...

Nice,
I am gonna go with the Rinehart 2-1 and was looking at the Thunder Max as well with the Auto Tune.  Do you recommend it and do they have good base maps for our bike and does the Auto tune do what it is advertised to do?
How many miles do you have on your bike and what oil are you running?
Thanks for your help in dialing my ride in!
