I have a FDXSE too. I have no ideas for you on pipes, I am stuck too.  I spent 270.00 on a pair of slip-ons until I can make up my mind.  But I will tell you I went with the screaming eagle race tuner, why not.  Now that I bought it within 60 days of the bike, it goes with the warranty.  (I am almost thinking rinehardts or bassani.........)

WELCOME.  congrats on the new ride.  I have not made a decison on pipes either,  because I like the wy the stock pipes flow, they do not get in the way of the oil dip stick.  I saw some V&H's I liked, but that was a laconia bike week, and now I cannot find them in a catalog.

Konichiwa from Okinawa...my bike will be picked up in 2 days, brought back into the shop on Monday for V & H Big Raduis 2:1, SERT and AC.  Have not heard any bad things about the BR 2:1 but I will give you the skinny in a couple of weeks with PICS.
