Been lurking for a few days until I picked up my '08 FLHTCUSE3. Didn't want to post until I got my pics to avoid the obvious "This thread is worthless..." LOL! So I have my bike for 700 miles and 5 days and here's what I can tell you so far:
No head gasket issue, but it is too soon to really know.
Heated seat isn't working as the wife discovered today.
Throttle sticks. It's actually the grip physically sticking, like they didn't put enough grease on the bar. Not the ETC.
NO HEAT ISSUE! YAY!
I rented an '07 96 inch ultra in Vegas last November and even though it was cold at the time got second degree burns on my thighs. I expected the worst with the big motor so I added the mid frame air deflectors and they're nice but the motor is not running any hotter then my TC88 with a 95 inch kit.
I've name it Nemo... Love the Canyon Copper in the sunlight but when it's under fluorescent lights the colors are just too close to the little Disney fish! LMAO!
Great site. Already got some useful info and put the factory A/C cover back on over the SE A/C back plate using a 1/4" rubber washer. Works like a charm! Thanks everyone!
