OK- silly question. Just got my '16 CVO-SG. Haven't really ridden it yet - just a short ride from the dealer. I need to get plates and let it warm up outside. But how do I see the odometer? I get the radio and nav system but want to see how many miles are on this thing. Can I set trip A and trip B measurements?

Your owners manual will describe how to obtain the trip A and B information. Very simple, top of left handlebars on clutch perch.
-
Owners manual as previously suggested. You can cycle through odometer, trip a, trip b, then tire pressures (F then R) I always seem to reset trip A when turning on to auxiliary power with that switch. Holding switch down while on a trip will reset it.

The little switch by your left thumb Web. When you push it it will cycle push and hold to reset.

Freedom Exhaust
Thundermax Tuner
S&S Stealth Air

Pro tip if you hold that little button down with your fob nearby the electronics will come on

Do you mean that the led display fades out in the sunlight so you can't read it ? In certain light it was impossible to read the numbers .
If so there was a reflash done on mine that solved the problem at the first service .

So with the re flash it made the display brighter? I'm also having the same problem and also with the nav no matter how I have it set in the settings, my 2015 SGS was much brighter

Have you tried adjusting the brightness?
-
Mine, 15 ultra, must have a light sensor, when in a tunnel the screan gets brighter.

Yes, it turned up all the way, if I select "Automatic" it dims it way to much when normal riding in the daytime, I have it set just like my SGS was and its noticeably dimmer, I have to take it for speedometer replacement as soon as weather breaks for a film on the inside of the glass and I will let them know and see what they say.

I think it should get darker if its set to "automatic" so it doesn't blind you :nixweiss:

Sorry took a while to get back to this.
Yes problem fixed completely . Can read odometer output in any conditions now .
I'm unsure what the issue was but is was a " campaign fix " not a recall , so obviously only some affected.
Cheers Dave
