Title: How are bikes crated when new?
Post by: WFP on August 05, 2004, 07:15:51 AM
Does anyone know how a bike is crated when it is delivered to the dealer?

My buddy's New Fatboy started losing bearings yesterday from the rear wheel when riding to work.

Thanks...I have not heard anything more.  It must have sucked to watch balls fall out of the axel as he had someone else roll the bike forward on the side of the road.

Bill, what goldiron03 said is spot on.  I have photos of my SEEG still tied down to the metal pallet on the day it was delivered to the dealer.  I will post them tonight when I get home so you can get a better idea, but I agree this sounds like a factory problem.
