Missing key fobs for 2014 FHLX
« on: May 05, 2015, 06:03:51 PM »

A buddy just bought a 2014 FLHX at a repo auction.  The bike is missing the key fobs and he does know the pin.

Short of taking the bike to a dealer does he have other options for starting the bike?

Thanks for any help.

I think a trip to the dealer is the only way.  :(

That's exactly what I told him.

Thanks

No different than if a battery in the fob went dead.....have to use the pin to start it each time until he gets a new fob.

He ought to change the pin immediately, though.  If the original owner wants the bike back....he can use the pin to start it.

yep, except to change the pin, he has to have a working fob on hand.  so he better hightail it off to the dealer (or get cracking on ebay  :2vrolijk_21:)
