Title: Saddlebags

Does anyone know if the detachable bags from the Deluxe will fit a Convertible?

I don't think so. Different method of attachment.
I dont usually keep my saddlebags on. I think the bike looks so much better without them. But....when I put them on, I triple check the attachment to make sure. Then I check them again. Then I use plastic wire ties to secure them in the locked position.
The whole saddlebag question is really the only negative thing about the bike.
Otherwise...the best Harley I ever owned.

Hey SJR,
I do agree with you on your praise of the convertible. I however disagree with the 'ejecting' saddlebags being the only issue. How about the 'grinding' floor boards??? Hell they almost killed me one time.

I forgot about that. Maybe because I have not been riding since last November.
