Title: S&S power dual install issue
Post by: bubtrauma on April 18, 2015, 03:19:59 PM
I am trying to install this header pipe and I am stuck at trying to bolt the pipe to the trans bracket with a hydraulic clutch. It is not possible with the bolt and bracket they give you. anyone with this issue?

Well I got it done and had to use a different bolt and nut. I also called S&S and the dude said he was going to look into the issue.

It will be interesting to hear what he finds......

Are we talking about the S&S Power Tune Dual Header System for Harley Touring 1995 - 2008?

Have this on my Road King with a hydraulic....   Nope, never mind.  That bike has a cable clutch.  My bad.  Though I do remember having to fiddle with the bracket spacing a little to make it play nice.  Wasn't a big deal and did require alternative hardware and (maybe) a spacer?  But it wasn't anything difficult to make work.
