Post by: SERK103 on October 24, 2003, 03:20:36 PM
I just picked up a cvo commemorative key.  It's 94 bucks and is a nice thing too have with the bike of it's caliper.

You've gotta hand it to those Marketing Boys at HD, they will find a way to get you to part with your hard earned money.  The gold key is nice touch, but I don't think it is worth a hundred bucks.  It doesn't even have value as a spare, because they provide those from the factory.  I guess it would look great on your girlfriends necklace.  Better to put the hundred beans towards a motorcycle hoist to make it easier to clean your bike!

I'm with you on spending the cash.......that's why we ride Harley's man!  HD stands for "Hundred-Dollar" bills. We've all got to personalize our bikes and buy the latest gizmos. Not that our SERKS lack anything, we've been conditioned to individualize.  By the way, which lift did you buy?

Well don't I feel just darn lucky. I got my CVO key for free!   [smiley=beerchug.gif] That's right. I did not pay one cent for that good 'ol gold key. Well, I did have to give Harley 27K for the bike and they threw in the key--a package deal! [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

It can only mean one thing, its been too long since you've been to the harley shop. whenever i get that extra money feeling i just go there and they take care of it.

Oh contrare.....I'm at the Harley dealership several times a week (as well as the toy store for my Harley truck) and that's exactly why I'm not familuar with the term "extra money".  No such thing for me.......I'm always spending it before I make it!  LOL

Uh-oh this is gonna spring some real "feelings" from somebody.

Just reading the brochure on the SEEG and it says that our bike comes with the "CVO indoor storage cover" and the "CVO ignition key".  So then I went on line to the HD web site and it says the same thing.  I guess the SEEG owners are the choosen few! [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

Anyone have an estimate on how far away they have gotten the opener to work?  Mine has to be in the driveway to get it to open.  I wonder if I need to straighten the antenna on the module in the garage?  Hmmmm.  Still cool tho.
