I have a good friend that was 3 weeks from retiring that lost his wife 6 months ago , we grew closer as he loved to ride so we used that as a means of future times, well he bought a new road glide, motor home with a toy hauler and was getting ready to do the cross country thing and I was going to meet up with him at some point. That day will never come , 3 weeks ago a 76 yo lady broad sided him , took off his leg, all face bones broken , brain swelling and he has been in a coma since. He is a fellow believer and loved to ride. I would appreciate any prayer offered his name is Bob Morrison ( 65 ) .... the latest from Dr. is the brain trauma was extensive and little to no hope. The family is ready to let him go onto greener pastures just hoping it will not drag out. We all know the risk involved as we enjoy our bikes and if he had a choice of his way to glory I know it would be on that bike. I thank you in advance 4 your prayers and look forward to seeing some of you once again soon.

Tom,
I lost my wife also, under terrible circumstances (are they ever not terrible?), but I did not lose her under such horrible circumstances as your friend Bob has, and now to be hurt so badly so close to retirement! But to be hurt this horribly at any time of your life would be almost unbearable, but coming so soon on the heels of losing his wife and about to start a new life of retirement with her? It just breaks my heart for him and his family. Things like this seem so harsh and difficult to understand, yet God is in the midst of it all and is most definitely with your friend Bob. Certainly he and his family will have my prayers.

Tom, as you already know, there are a lot of prayer warriors here. sorry for the tragedy Bob is going thru . we have to focus on the Lord Jesus Christ even more in times as such for strength, compassion & the comfort of peace, knowing He is still Lord of our lives, still in control. I'll be praying for the family & close friends, like yourself. trust in His amazing GRACE. this is thru our faith in Jesus Christ.
