On my 16 FLTRUSE - the right saddle bag will not lock with remote - the tourpak and left saddlebag lock and unlock via remote. I disconnected the plug - re-plugged - tried again - no joy. Amy suggestions? Thnx, Jim

Hey Jim, you did what I was going to suggest. I forgot to re-connect after a wash recently and the left side wasn't working...duh. When I checked it, yep...forgot to reconnect.
Did you wash recently and may got some water/corrosion in the plug? If that's not it, it's got warranty so if it were mine, I would take it back to the dealer. Take advantage of that warranty while you can.... :2vrolijk_21:

Did that particular lock ever work remotely, or has it been this way since you bought the bike? If you check the wiring for good connections and find no damage to the wiring, the best answer would be to take the bike to the dealership and have them diagnose the problem. Assuming you have a decent dealership service department of course. You mentioned it won't lock with the remote, how about will it unlock with the remote if you manually lock it? How about if you leave the lid open so there is no pressure on the mechanism from the latch itself? What I'm getting at is if the electrical part of the system is OK, perhaps the latch adjustment itself is binding enough to prevent the solenoid from moving the mechanism. Just a thought.

I've added to my list of repairs. Grateful, Jim

Had the same issue with my 2015 Ultra, had it changed under warranty, same side also.

Loose in the connector. Dealer took mine apart and reinserted the wires into the connector and no more problems.

Take back to dealership if you can't figure it out first call them in case you need to make an appointment. Good luck.

Have you switched the non working bag to the working side and tried it?
