Title: 2016 CVO street glide
Post by: leeekeee on May 05, 2016, 08:12:49 AM: New to this site, from Toronto, have been riding Harley's for 30 years
Buying my 1st CVO street glide
Could use some suggestions, neither of the 2 black colours are avaible and I'm stuck trying to deceide between the white with black or the red.
Like to hear peoples thoughts

I big part of buying a motorcycle (at least color) is emotional... pick the color that moves your soul and go for it... our suggestions (of what we like/dislike) may not be the one you like and you end up regretting it in the end.

Not really sure why, maybe like the "Green race car theory", but I will tell you, if I couldn't have gotten the black one, the red would've been my next choice. It's Beautiful. Your bike, your $, your heart, best of luck with the decision.

But, having someone else choose your color is a bit like going on a blind date, you're never quite sure how you'll feel at the end of the night. Keep an open mind and go with your heart. Can your dealer trade for your favorite color? Seems there should be a bike you like somewhere in Ontario or Quebec.

Never heard (or thought/considered) color to make a difference on resale...just like buying it new the color is a personal choice... the new buyer will want a particular color (or not). :nixweiss:

Reference the color, you are spending a considerable amount so buy the color you want, I wouldn't settle just for a new CVO.

When I saw this bike it blew me away so that is the one I got.

The dealership has 3 new 2016's now and I wouldn't get any of them. They are OK, very nice but they don't blow me away.

My bike color isn't for everybody, again its personal, my advice is get the color and bike that you would keep forever, I did.

When I went to sign the papers for ours, they had just put on the floor a red Road Glide,
I was so tempted to change my mind after seeing it, but I just traded a red Lilited in and I had to really fight the impulse, plus I really wanted a different color.
