Here is the 2020 Road Glide Special, the limited eagle eye. I think it is very sharp in person. Hard to justify 10K more for the CVO Road Glide.

Again

Not a fan of yellows or greens. However this color really is sharp, depending on lighting it can look greenish or very yellow. Good shine to it.
-
Last shot. Very sharp bike. Saw both this and the 2020 CVO Road Glide yesterday. This has a lot more pop, and more eye catching.

Yes it is.

Like the look better than the 2020 1/2 CVO RG. It's a Green Banana.
-
Definitely has more"Cool Factor" than the 2020.5 CVO. If they only make 900 that would be Plus but I don't know if I would trust the number unless published straight from HD. Are you buying it?

Made the deal yesterday just after they unloaded it off the truck.

Hey Joe, did you trade your '19 or get this as a second bike?
As Dave said, it's not a color I am drawn toward but pictures do not do justice to some colors...the 2012 Skunk comes to mind...sunshine turned that bike into much more than black and white. I'm sure this color will be the same. Congratulations.

Do we smell another trade and new addition in your garage coming?

I traded the 19 for it. I sold the Skunk in August and picked up a used 17 RGS that I built a 160hp 126ci out of. The new bike will be my primary bike that I'll use the most and when I travel long distance. I was leary of the color until I got to see it in person.

Awesome!!! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the 131 upgrade, the color is also growing on me the more I see pictures of it... Took me 3X looking at My 19 CVO Mako shark fade before I found the beauty in the color and wrote the check...

No, not this year. That would be a nice addition though as it looks great in person.

My Gunship, hated the color on the dealer show and on the internet. Saw it in person and I bought it.
This would have been similar if buying. Not wild about pictures, walked in and saw it in person and the color is fantastic, and the graphics look very good.

Pictures never really do justice to showing the true color... Works both ways, I have loved some colors in pictures and then seeing them in person had a totally different opinion.. What does H-D call this new color? I’m looking forward to my Local dealer getting one so I can check it out.... They gave me first option to buy and will call me when it arrives... The Misses is already giving me the evil eye!! LOL

I might see one at Daytona Bike Week. I’m sure Rossmeyer HD will hve one on a “Blue Light Special”. ;D
I think we’ll see the 131’s in the 2021 models and hopefully better paint options.

They call the color Eagle Eye. Its pretty much a high gloss of the yellow fuse that is on the Live wire.

Thank you.
They just finished another Stage IV 131 kit and it dyno'd around 120hp and 134tq with just the Stage IV ECM calibration for the kit and no adjustments. There's not a lot of adjustments using the PRO Street Tuner but I'm going to spend the extra and have them get the most out of mine on the dyno.
Looking forward to see how the kit holds up as I usually ride 30,000+ miles a year but that'll be shared between both bikes.

Those are very impressive numbers from an EPA standpoint... Awesome 😎...
-
I'd hope the 131 will put out much better than that with a proper tune. Have you seen if they are doing the winter shoot out this year? I either missed it or they didn't last year.

There are limited adjustments that can be done with the Street Tuner. From what I've seen tweeking the EPA calibration has been 122 to 126hp and 137 to 140tq. I'm sure you could bump these numbers using a non-EPA tuner but I want the warranty on this bike.
Dyno shootout is February 23 to 29. Here is the link.

You putting the 2017 RGS in the shoot out? What about the 2020? Will they be different class as the later is all Harley?

Just the 3 classes, evo, twin cam and m8. In the past engine size didn't matter. But to answer your question I probably won't enter. Several people have already made comments that they won't enter if I use the 17. lol
Still waiting for the derby cover, ventilator extreme and end caps for the 20 but they should have everything else buttoned up today.

Not sure anyone around can beat your 2017. Sad they will not enter just because you do. You could enter the 2020.

Picked up the bike today. So far everything seems fine. Power is decent for an EPA compliant engine.
Stage IV 131ci kit
Pro Street tuner
Street Cannon mufflers

Last spring I went to my local dealer to purchase some parts for my bagger. Saw this in the sun and ended up buying it. Loved the color in person. Added the color matched tour pack and blacked out a few things which Harley neglected. Rode to Sturgis last year and only saw one other one all week.
Definitely a head turner and looks awesome in the sunlight.
