Post by: BreakinBreadMC on April 10, 2020, 10:59:02 AM
Does anyone have a link for a free repair manual PDF? I've paid for them twice, but have lost the devices they were downloaded on :-\

Paper copies of service guide are handy.  This might be a place where it's worthwhile to buy a manual rather than steal from the publisher looking for a free copy online.

Also, I think you'll find the FLHTCUSE service manuals are just supplements.  They're books that deal with only things that are different from the stock bikes.  So you'll need the Ultra's service manual plus the CVO bike's supplemental manual.  The supplement you're after is HD part # 99500-12.

This also might be a case where you consider an alternative.  Maybe something like a Clymer manual.  One book rather than two.  They may not be great but they don't suck; and they've got some electrical diagnostics and wiring diagrams that the factory manuals don't include (unless you get the separate factory electrical diagnostics manual).

One other option to consider.  If you're not going deep deep in the woods maybe you can live with a parts manual.  It's handy to have the part numbers whenever you need them and, if you're halfway salty, the exploded views may be all you need to facilitate assembly and disassembly.
