Rode to work this morning.. First ride after my engine build. Bike is a BEAST (140/152) but the check engine light came on. Went into diag to see what was there, P0152 and P1516-01. No driveability issues. Dealer opens at 0830 and is a mile down the road. I looked up the codes, just curious if anyone has experienced these, if so what was the exact cause.

Back to the same issue, high O2 voltage is a lean spike, VE tables are not properly set.

CRAP!!!!!... They got rid of the throttle plate closing issue, they had to update their software. Will incorrect VE tables cause both codes?

A comprehensive tune takes a long time, less so on the CAN bus bikes. Every rpm and load range is sampled and adjusted until the VEs programed equal the targeted AFR. After that the AFRs can be set reliably and the ECU has the bandwidth to control the closed loop areas to the target. Many don't take the time to get the VEs fully developed or don't have the knowledge how to do that and use a broad brush approach. The better tuners and the ones that take the proper time will get these fixed.
Sorry I don't know what one of those codes is, one is O2 high voltage.

So far the bike has been on the dyno 9 plus hours. It's going back shortly

Take it to Steve at GMR and stop the madness. This is a CAN bus bike and tunes quick in the proper hands and with the right software.

I am probably going to have to. I spoke with Steve and he told me $500 for a Power Vision tune. Just have to get it scheduled so that I can go down early one morning and wait for him to get it down then come back. He's 4 hours from me.

Time well spent & you’ll be a happy rider, again
