Title: 2020 cvo street glide seat
Post by: tekslk on February 02, 2021, 07:13:17 PM
I got the 2020 cvo street glide and was wondering if anyone gets assburn after about 50 miles riding with the stock seat on.  I do and was wondering what seats are you usuing, I prefer the solo style.

The stock 2 piece seats are not good for a long ride.   No matter how you try.   There are other seats out there that are a whole lot more comfortable.  I had a mustang vintage on my cvo sg years ago. I was very happy with that.   Stuart.

I was hoping it would break in, I have a Danny gray airst from my road king that rides great but it sits you high, Im looking for low and comfortable.

Better get a taller wind shield. I'm sorry to tell you it won't "break" in. Those hd seats are just that.  Look great. But that's it. ☹️ Stuart

It’s funny to read these comments. I’ve had 7 BMW motorcycles and not one factory seat could I sit one for more than an hour. Not one! I bought my first HD last year a 2019 CVO Street Glide and I love the stock seat! I can ride for about 5 hours before I need a break and it’s time for gas at that point so it’s perfect.
The wife isn’t so comfortable though so I’m looking at the seat off the Limited which I think is like a Saddleman?

On the BMW's the Corbin is one of the "Go To Seats" as well as Mayor and Sargent. I had a Sargent on my 2002 BMW R1100RT and it was the most comfortable seat ever. But, that chapter has sailed I'm just letting you know that the Corbin "IS Hard" but it's a hard that seems to be immediately comfortable when sitting on it. One of my bikes I bought from a buddy had the Corbin on it but it was 10 years broke in!

I have the same year as yours. For long trips I have a sheep skin saddle cover. Makes for a very relaxed comfortable ride with plenty of air circulation
