I have replaced 3 from internal wear the grooves in them were bad.   Not had one grenade thus far, but worn out from chatter.

My 11 has a complete CF2 clutch and other than stack height issues has been perfect.   My 04 and 02 have both had to have the baskets replaced.   02 now has a Barnett Scorpion and thus far 2 years no issue.   The 04 is 3 years since replacement and is due for a checkup, but seems fine and no noise.  That is a SE Clutch from back in the day with the heavy springs and new clutch plates about 18 months ago and an aim 95t throw out on it.

Each of these are 155+ HP.   Checking em periodically is the best practice.

Never replaced basket on an Evo.  One on the 05 I used to have.  Started cracking on the hub adjacent to the splines.  It would have grenaded but I was fortunate enough to be in there for other reasons before it did.  That bike had a little engine work that had been in place for maybe the last 10k miles of the hub's life.

When I bought it years ago it was 880 now it's about 1300. The basket is machined from a solid block of high strength steel not aluminum.

Well I am going to get a Clutch Basket and Clutch from EVO IND.  I have another post for inf. The Only reason I am considering it is because I can't get Variable Pressure Plate for the Baker 9 Plate Street Clutch
