Title: 2015 odometer toggle
Post by: wikreigs on September 19, 2021, 03:39:12 PM
On a recent ride I set trip odometer to 0 when I left then set it back to mileage. When went to toggle it will not change to trip a or b or miles to reserve. It just stays on bike mileage. Anyone have this issue?

Don’t know if trip button is on the same circuit board but had the clutch lever sensor go out in my 2015 and they had to replace the whole grip circuit board.  Board was more expensive than individual switches but replacement was quick.  Guess that’s the price of canbus electrical system.

I took switch assembly off and tried using contact cleaner. Still won't work. I put it back together. Everything else works good. Might just leave it. Looks like the complete switch assembly would have to be replaced.$$$

Just in case you haven't checked...ignition switch has to be "on" or in "aux" position for trip a/b or distance to empty to show.  If power is off, only total mileage shows.
