looking for a new seat! always rode what came with the bike. lately, been looking around. but,my gosh there are so many choices out there. hoping for some real world experience to give a starting place just to look. 2011 flhtcuse6 is the bike i am re-seating. looking for a 2up seat with drivers backrest. looked at corbins but i do n ot like the way the backrest mounts. was hoping to use my HD backrest hardware. any advice, help, direction appreciated. :nixweiss:

I have a Sundowner that I use for long rides (use SG seat for short rides) and it’s really comfortable to me.  I’m sure there are better options at higher price points but my posterior isn’t that demanding.  I mean I did ride a Night Train for 13 years with the stock seat.

X2 for the sundowner. I have used the sundowner for about 200k mi since 2001 on my road king and 09 to present road glide. Recently had it modified at Mean city with memory foam lowered and narrowed. Even more comfortable now and my fit my 29 inch inseam better lol. But a great seat out of the box imho

I went with the Hammock seat on my 19 rg with the back rest.   Looks a little old manish but my back loves me for it.  And it  sits me up a little higher, which was also something I was looking for.  You can get it heated too. I live in  FL.  No heated for me.  Stuart.

I've just replaced my Hammock seat on my 2011 CVOSE6. I found a used Road Zeppelin Air Adjustable seat. #52000201. Just turned 60K miles & have hated the Hammock seat for 60K miles. I have used the Road Zeppelin seat pad for years. I paid $300 for a barely used seat & so far I've put on 250 miles on it so far & love it. I will put it to the test next month as we a leaving for a month long road trip. I kept the stock back rest with no problem. Just a note that the rider seat is 20" wide & I have no problem as I have plenty of leg to flat foot my bike. I think the reason people sell them as it is too   wide for short people. Also the passenger seat is a quite a bit thicker as it also has an air bladder in it. If you search Facebook market place I see them for sale all the time for as low as $300 & up. Also I just just installed the Kurakyn Tour Pak relocation kit & I highly recommend it. It was an easy installation. It slides back to a total of 3 inches & will give the wife more room & I wont have her pushing my back rest forward. The rider seat has 2 zones that can easily adjusted. The seat has no heat but I never used it! $300 is a lot cheaper than spending big bucks on a seat that you don't know if it will work. Good luck on you search for the perfect seat.

I just looked on Facebook Marketplace & there are a quite a few seats for sale in your area. You should be able to get a seat reasonable.

My 2017 CVO Streetglide I put on the Harley Hammock seat. Very comfortable but killed the look of the bike.
It was no longer a "Hotrod Bagger". It looked like an old man bike.
On my New 2022 CVO Roadglide I went with the Bad Boyz Cyclez Freedom Seat. Very comfortable for my wife and I, and it looks
Fantastic! I would highly recommend. There is currently a long wait time for their products.

Those do look great. I've got one of his backrest in my '12. Looking at you pix I just realized there's no passenger strap across the seat. Back in 15 on our Texas trip we were told to make sure you have it in there as it's required by law. Something about the passenger having a place to hold on to other that the rider. Does George supply one with the seat and you didn't put it on?
