Title: Michelin Tire Pressure

I see Harley offers Michelin Commanders for sale not.  If I switch will the required air pressure be the same as the Dunlop's?

Max pressure will be marked on the side of the tire.

I know the maximum pressure is on the tire.  With my car, I don't use the maximum pressure so I was wodering if there were any differences to the reccomended tire pressure for my SERK.

I read an article not too long ago, don't remember where, that said they were happy with the Commanders, but they were VERY sensitive to air pressure.  A couple pounds made a huge difference in handling.  I put a set on my Evo Fat Boy recently and notice they are a lot more...I can't decide between "responsive" and "twitchy" at the pressure they came from the shop.  I haven't put enough miles on them yet to see if they can be sorted out, but they seem less directionally stable than the stock Dunlops.  I'd adjust the pressure within the owner's manual to maximum pressure range and see if you find a sweet spot.
