Title: fork spring replacement

what does it take to chang the front fork spring's on a FXSTD?? i am new to this board & bike, thank's for any help.

gofone,

I've not changed the fork springs on the 2 but, on the Road kings & Fat boys, remove the front brake calipers, wheel, Loosen the top hex nut on the fork & then the triple clamp bolt holding each fork.  Drain the fork & remove the spring & to install reverse the process.
