Title: Lost a friend and my Wrench
Post by: nidan on July 21, 2005, 03:30:50 PM
Sad news folks

My local wrench at my dealer and a good friend of my was recently run off the road and died as a result of his injuries.  He was only 28 , and after a valiant struggle of a week in the hospital the man upstairs took him.

His name was Justin Payne and he was also a great drummer.

His family is struggling emotionally and financially .  If any of you are local to the north georgia area , or are riding near here, please stop by the parts counter and pick up a memorial decal.

Proceeds go to his family to help cover funeral and hospital expenses.

If you are out of the area and feel philanthropic, you can send donations to :

Fraziers Harley Davidson
4699 Friendship Road
Buford , GA 30519

Attention : Justin Payne Memorial Fund.

It's always tough to lose a friend , and fellow rider and musician.
When they are this young it's tragic.

We are working on getting a memorial ride together , I'll post details when I find more out.

Say a prayer if your inclined , he was a good soul and a great mechanic.

I'm sorry to hear it, too.......and I did say a prayer for him and for his family.  Don't have to know him to be able to relate to loosing somebody you care about.  Just sorry to hear it.

Thanks for the prayers guys , I'll post about the ride as soon as there are details .

Andy Murray , who works in parts is getting it together , he was also the guitar player in Justin's band . They had been playin together for 16 years.  The plan is to have the ride and then meet back at the dealer for a jam featuring guest drummers.

Just now getting around to reading this message. Justin was our favorite mechanic and one of the best my husband has ever used. We will miss him dearly. I just wish the guys over at Frazier's had given a bit more attention this his death. No notice of even his accident was ever posted on their web site and he is still listed on there as one of their mechanics. Someone needs to remind them to change things I guess. Has the ride taken place yet? If not I will be watching for a new message in here as to when it will be. Only knew Justin for a short 10 years, but he was one that this lady could talk to and he took the time to listen and help. He will be missed greatly. Prayers to his family. Sandy

I am sad to hear about a brother to pass......Just lifted his family up in prayer. We all seem to forget that we are just a heartbeat away from eternity until something like this happens.

                                                God Bless,  JR
